Music Ministry:

What is music? A series of notes on a page. Melodies and harmonies played by various instruments. Words expressed through singing. To us at The Church of Glad Tidings, music is so much more. It is the expression of the heart. It is the crying out to the Maker of the universe. It is the spirit making contact with the very One who gave us life. In short, it is touching God. Whether we sing a masterful hymn rich in spiritual significance or a contemporary chorus that is sung during a deeply personal encounter with God, our goal as the music ministry of The Church of Glad Tidings is to help people touch God. No matter where people find themselves in life, we all have one basic need - to touch God. Our music ministry offers a blended worship, including people of all ages and backgrounds. Men's Ministry:

The men of The Church of Glad Tidings meet regularly together for prayer, fellowship, and inspiration. The primary purposes are to help each other become examples as followers of Christ and spiritual leaders of their families and church by:

1. Developing a close acquaintance and kinship with each other.

2. Praying individually and corporately with each other regarding personal developmental needs.

3. Participating in learning experiences in discipleship and witnessing.

4. Planning and participating together in witnessing and visitation ministry.

5. Utilizing individual gifts, skills, and abilities in the maintenance of the grounds and facilities.

6. Supporting the Pastor and church leaders helping to promote the Statement of Purpose and Vision for the church.

Youth Ministry:

We have regular youth services on Wednesday night @ 7pm. Nolen and Tammy Fox are leading our Youth services.  We are haveing weekly study lessons and in the process of creating new and exciting techniques to instill the gospel message of Christ within the youth of Palestine and surrounding areas. We currently have youth attending from Palestine, Elkhart, Fairlield, and Slocum. Please come and worship with us!! Childrens Ministry: 

Glad Tidings loves kids! There is something going on for a child of every age. We offer a nursery for children ages birth through four. Children then graduate up to Royal Rangers or Missionettes (Wednesday's at 7 pm). On Sunday mornings, children ages 5-8 and 9-11 can participate in one of two exciting Children's Church services. This is an important time to build a spiritual foundation in your child's life, and we would love to be a part. Sunday School:

There is a class perfect for everyone: from birth to the young at heart join us in the study of God's Word. Toddlers, two elementary aged classes, pre-teens,Youth and an adult classes meet every Sunday morning at 9:30 am.

Royal Rangers
